Senior Pastor
Who We Are: Riverside Christian Alliance Church (RCAC) exists to glorify God as a Christ-centered family by loving God and others, proclaiming the Good News, cultivating faithful living through teaching God’s Word, and reaching the lost in our local and global communities. Based on a recent Congregational Self-Study Survey, our church seeks a Senior Pastor who will prioritize preaching and teaching, leading worship, and providing leadership and counsel to our church and community. We desire a pastor with a deep knowledge of the Bible who can deliver scripture-based sermons with practical life applications. Additionally, we value a leader who emphasizes youth and family ministries, including youth camps, retreats, and regular church gatherings.
About Us: RCAC is a multi-generational, bilingual church located in Jurupa Valley, Riverside County, California. Situated in Southern California, our community is just an hour away from beaches, mountains, and the desert. For over 30 years, RCAC has served God by ministering to the Chinese population in the Riverside area. Today, we continue this mission, reaching multi-generational, bilingual families through Sunday services, community events, prayer groups, and women’s ministries.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver scripture-based sermons that emphasize life application.
- Lead and plan church worship services.
- Provide leadership in church discipline and governance.
- Foster a balanced program of worship, teaching, and fellowship.
- Offer administrative leadership alongside the Governing Board.
- Conduct weddings, baptisms, baby dedications, and funerals.
- Provide counseling services to individuals and families.
- Address conflicts and foster unity within the church.
Key Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of the Bible with the ability to preach and teach effectively.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with both youth and elderly congregants.
- Bilingual proficiency to serve our diverse community.
- Licensed or eligible for licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA).
