尔湾华人第一浸信会成立于1976年，位于加州大学尔湾分校（UCI）校园旁边，目前因事工需要，招聘全职的青少年传道，以服务教会的青少年（Youth），并向大学生传福音。
任职资格
- 有从神来的呼召和服事青少年的负担；要全然地委身于基督；
- 愿意主动与青少年及其父母建立关係；
- 善于与同工彼此配搭，乐意团队服事；
- 对东西方文化的差异有较高的敏感性；
- 对青少年流行文化与亚文化保持兴趣；
- 国语流利，英语精通；福音派神学院毕业或在读优先；
- 有青少年事工的经验的优先；
- 认同本教会的信仰声明；
岗位职责
- 制定并实施吸引青少年归向基督并促进他们灵命成长的计画；
- 根据需要对青少年团契和大学生团契进行讲道、门训、教导和辅导；
- 拟定每年青少年事工和大学生事工的年度目标和年度预算；
- 与所有青少年的父母或监护人建立健康的关係，引导、鼓励孩子的父母属灵生命的成长，按照圣经真理的原则养育子女；
- 及时瞭解与年轻人相关的流行文化趋势；
- 制定并实施针对我们社区青年和大学生的外展计画；
- 组织探访、外展和社区及校园的关怀活动，参与教会与青少年相关的活动；
- 监督、培养培训青少年、大学生事工的小组长、同工及志愿者；

Recruiting Full-time Youth Minister
Irvine First Chinese Baptist Church was established in 1976, located next to the University of California, Irvine (UCI) campus. Currently, due to the needs of the ministry, we are recruiting a full-time Youth Minister to serve the church's youth and to spread the gospel to college students.
Qualifications:
- Must have a calling from God and a commitment to serve the youth; must be wholly devoted to Christ;
- Willing to actively establish relationships with the youth and their parents;
- Skilled in cooperating with coworkers and willing to serve in a team;
- Highly sensitive to the differences between Eastern and Western cultures;
- Maintains an interest in youth popular culture and subcultures;
- Fluent in Mandarin, proficient in English;
- Graduates or current students of evangelical seminaries are preferred;
- Prior experience in youth ministry is preferred;
- Identifies with the church's statement of faith;
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement plans to attract youth to Christ and to promote their spiritual growth;
- Preach, disciple, teach, and counsel the youth fellowship and college students as needed;
- Set annual goals and budgets for the youth and college student ministries;
- Establish healthy relationships with all parents or guardians of the youth, guide and encourage the spiritual growth of the parents, raising children according to biblical truths;
- Stay informed about popular cultural trends related to young people;
- Develop and implement outreach plans for the community's youth and college students;
- Organize visits, outreach, and care activities in the community and on campus, participate in church activities related to the youth;
- Supervise, nurture, and train small group leaders, coworkers, and volunteers in the youth and college student ministries.
